SYTYCDism is now a part of OMG! Dance!

January 11th, 2011

I would like to inform everyone that SYTYCDism will now officially be a part of OMG! Dance, another project headed by my company, Trandrew & Co.

This decision has been debated between myself and my colleagues for awhile now, but we firmly believe it is the next step for dance coverage on the internet.

The goal of OMG! Dance is to bring what everyone loved about SYTYCDism to the masses, not only covering just So You Think You Can Dance, but doing the best to share the talented works of the rest of the dance industry. We often found ourselves restricted when trying to share some of the best dance videos, as it had to have some kind of SYTYCD affiliation, but with OMG! Dance, we will be able to freely post great videos for everyone to enjoy.

At first, SYTYCDism was going to remain its own entity, but we realized that it’s in everyone’s best interest to have all dance news in one location for convenience purposes. That being said, all posts that would have been on here will be posted on OMG! Dance under the SYTYCD section.

All old posts will still be available for reference at this page.

In conclusion, I would just like to thank everyone who has supported SYTYCDism these past few years. It’s all thanks to you guys who have made it so successful. Without y’all, Trandrew wouldn’t exist. We promise OMG! Dance will be just as great as SYTYCDism, and at the rate it’s going, we can assure you it’ll be better.

Sincerely,
Andrew Tran

Cat Deeley guest starred on Disney’s new dance sitcom Shake It Up this week. Cat played the new vice principal and the show pokes fun at her accent and also has her say her trademark “So You Think You Can Dance” and “judges”. The episode is pretty cute and Cat did a great job!

Cat is featured in 5:55-7:50 in the first video and 6:15-10:25 in the second video.
