Thanks to Rickey.org, we know that Mary Murphy is joining the cast of “Burn the Floor” on Broadway on December 22 (one day only!). She will be partnered with ballroom champion Vaidas Skimelis. The show has featured past alumni including Artem Chigvintsev, Anya Garnis, and Pasha Kovalev.

Anya Garnia & Pasha Kovalev have just joined the cast of SYTYCD Aus’ Jason Gilkison‘s Burn the Floor. They are replacing featured couple Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff (DWTS). The award-winning show showcases jive, paso doble, foxtrot, tango, samba, mambo, quickstep, swing, waltz, cha-cha, rumba, salsa and more.

movmnt has just uploaded the last digital short by iVAN Season 1 – from the S4 finale. It features several STYCD contestants trying to do Dmitry Chaplin‘s (S2) choreography for Hip Hip Chin Chin, from Season 3, danced by Danny Tidwell and Lacey Schwimmer.
First, Season 2′s Dmitry and Benji Schwimmer try it, then Season 3′s Neil Haskell and Anya Garnis. Finally, the lovely combination of Dmitry and Anya step up, and I think they take the prize!
Canadians, get ready! February 20-22 SYTYCD judge and choreographer Jean-Marc Generaux, S2 winner Benji Schwimmer and S3′s Pasha Kovalev and Anya Garnis (currently competing for Russia on Superstars of Dance) will be in Toronto to “teach, perform, and party with local dance enthusiasts.”

4. Russia, duet, ballroom – (64 points)
In Russia it’s dance or hockey. They picked dance. They’ve been dancing together for about 11 years.
Strange telephone dial tone music in the background.
They are sexy but shouldn’t they be wowing me right about now?
I’m pretty sure that’s French that woman is speaking in the background over the dial tone music. Russians dancing to French music in America on a show hosted by an Irish guy. Interesting.
This seems longer than the others. Maybe I’m just not that into it.
Judges:
Russian judge: “All dancers in Russia are watching this show right now from a streaming KGB Web site.”
He’s adorable. I love the Russian judge!!

More SYTYCD crossover. Pasha & Anya also appeared on Dancing with the Stars this past season. I heart them. They’re doing a Samba to some very nontraditional music, but it works. It’s pretty darn hot actually despite being hindered by some bad camera work.
